Je m’appelle Frédéric. J’ai fait mes premières photos vers 1978 avec un Kodak Instamatic 133. Après avoir longtemps quitté la photographie, j’y suis revenu avec la même curiosité, en me formant à l’école Spéos à Paris.
Je travaille aujourd’hui dans les domaines du documentaire, du portrait et de la photographie still life en studio. J’aime regarder, observer, comprendre et raconter par l’image, avec une attention particulière portée aux personnes et aux histoires qui se trouvent derrière les sujets.
Pour moi, photographier est une façon de vivre et de comprendre le monde : moins de mots, plus de sens, et surtout le temps de regarder.
Basé à Paris, je travaille en France et en Europe. Je parle couramment anglais et connais particulièrement bien les États-Unis, leur culture et leur environnement. Je suis disponible pour des projets éditoriaux, des commandes et des collaborations avec des médias et des agences, en France comme à l’international.

My name is Frédéric. I took my first photographs around 1978 with a Kodak Instamatic 133. After stepping away from photography for many years, I found my way back to it with the same curiosity, training at Spéos photography school in Paris.
I now work across documentary photography, portraiture and studio still life. I like to look, observe, understand and tell stories through images, with particular attention to the people and stories behind the subjects I photograph.
For me, photography is a way of experiencing and understanding the world: fewer words, deeper meaning, and above all, taking the time to look.
Based in Paris, I work throughout France and abroad. I am fluent in English and have a strong familiarity with the United States, Middle East and Asia, its culture and its media environment. I am available for editorial assignments, commissions and collaborations with media organizations and agencies, both in France and internationally.
